The alley behind the State Theatre in Eau Claire, wisconsin painted during the Go Paint Chippewa Valley plein air festival in May, 2017
Chippewa River at the Tyrone Canoe Landing
This piece was painted one morning during the "Go Paint Chippewa Valley" plein air festval in western Wisconsin. I was attracted to the way in which the light gradually warmed the bay.
This old building located at the Menogyn YMCA camp on Bearskin Lake in Northern Minnesota houses many canoes during the winter months. It was pretty cold that day, and even colder inside the building. what intrigued me was was the shapes, angles and features that presented themselves as I was seated low in the building. 12" x 12" oil on canvas panel--$300.00, framed.
Wood Burning Heating Plant
This small building houses the heating system fueled by logs to heat the main lodge at the Menogyn Camp. It was fired up non stop for the week that we were there, and the staff kept the supply of logs coming. 10" x 8" oil on canvas panel--$100.00, framed.
